Lara Jeremko

Founder & Managing Partner

Lara Jeremko is the Founder & Managing Partner of Beyond Ventures and an institutional investor with more than two decades of experience across private markets fund management, philanthropic strategy, and venture-building.

Over the course of her career, Lara has led fund commitments exceeding $1.3 billion across 38 private equity and venture capital funds, including 12 emerging managers, and has served as advisory board representative for more than 40 funds.

Previously, Lara served as Investment Officer at UTIMCO — the investment firm overseeing $35 billion of University of Texas System endowment assets — managing a $1.5 billion venture capital and private equity fund-of-funds portfolio. At UTIMCO, she led fund commitments exceeding $750 million across 20 private equity and venture capital managers. Prior to that, she was lead analyst at Credit Suisse's Customized Fund Investment Group, a $24 billion private equity fund-of-funds manager.

Lara is co-founder and Board Director of re:3D Inc., an industrial 3D printing company addressing cost, scale, and material barriers in additive manufacturing, and a former Prize Lead for the XR Innovation Prize Challenge funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, and a minor in Public Communications from the Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Lara Jeremko is an institutional investor and entrepreneur with 20 years experience across fund management, philanthropic strategy and venture-building.

Previously, Lara served as an Investment Officer managing a $1.5 billion venture capital and private equity fund portfolio at UTIMCO, the investment firm overseeing $35 billion of University of Texas System endowment assets. She also served as Interim Caregiving Lead for Pivotal, a group of organizations founded by Melinda French Gates to accelerate the pace of social progress for women and young people. Previously, Lara served as a Private Equity Analyst at Credit Suisse in the Customized Fund Investment Group, a private equity fund-of-funds manager with $24 billion assets under management. She also served as Prize Lead for the XR Innovation Prize Challenge funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Lara is a co-founder and Board Director of re:3D Inc., an industrial 3D printing company addressing cost, scale and material barriers in additive manufacturing. Lara graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. from Syracuse University.

Gabriella Perez

Senior Associate, Investments

Gabriella Perez supports private markets investment and portfolio advisory for institutional clients. She brings experience across both direct private equity investing and institutional allocation.

Before joining Beyond Ventures, Gabriella served as Senior Analyst at the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust, where she evaluated and managed private markets investments across a $10 billion children’s health foundation portfolio. Her responsibilities spanned the full investment lifecycle: manager and company diligence, financial and market analysis, relationship management, and portfolio monitoring.

Previously, Gabriella was a Private Equity Analyst at Vista Equity Partners, focused on platform investments in enterprise software businesses. There she conducted rigorous financial and market diligence, partnered with portfolio company management teams on value creation, and contributed to performance monitoring across the portfolio.

Gabriella earned her B.B.A. in Business Analytics from the University of Notre Dame, with a minor in Innovation & Entrepreneurship. She has passed Level I of the CFA Program and is a Girls Who Invest alumna. Outside of work, she enjoys pottery, embroidery, choral singing, and time at the beach.

Elizabeth Borcia is an Operations & Research Analyst at Beyond Ventures, where she supports analytical, operational, and advisory work across fund-of-funds, venture capital, and philanthropy engagements. She works closely with the firm’s Managing Partner and senior team to deliver rigorous research, analysis, and project execution.

Elizabeth contributes to thesis-driven research, analysis and market landscaping, with a focus on data integrity, research synthesis, and statistical rigor. She also manages core operational processes that ensure clarity, consistency, and quality across client deliverables.

Elizabeth brings a strong academic foundation in research, data analysis, and statistics, complemented by experience translating complex information into clear, decision-ready insights. Her work is characterized by disciplined execution, sound judgment, and adaptability in a founder-led advisory environment.

She holds a master’s degree in Industrial-Organizatioanl Psychology and has a deep interest in impact investing, philanthropy, and entrepreneurship. Outside of work, Elizabeth can be found dancing Argentine tango, caring for her rabbits and other animals, or immersed in tabletop gaming—most often a game of Dungeons & Dragons.

Elizabeth Borcia

Operations & Research Analyst

Elizabeth Borcia is an Operations & Research Analyst at Beyond Ventures, where she supports analytical, operational, and advisory work across fund-of-funds, venture capital, and philanthropy engagements. She works closely with the firm’s Managing Partner and senior team to deliver rigorous research, analysis, and project execution.

Monique Villa Capra is a venture capitalist and ecosystem builder based in Nashville, TN. She joined Beyond Ventures as a Senior Investment Advisor in 2023. In addition to her work with Beyond Ventures, she is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence with Mucker Capital and Co-Founder of Build In SE.

Monique served as Launch Tennessee's first Chief Investment Officer leading InvestTN, a new $70 million equity fund as part of the U.S. Department of the Treasury's $10 billion SSBCI program. Before LaunchTN, she was an early-stage investor with Mucker Capital, a venture capital fund investing in Seed and Series A stage companies outside Silicon Valley. Before Mucker, she held operating roles for Core Innovation Capital, a fintech-focused fund based in LA and San Francisco, and Velos Partners, based in LA and Singapore. Her career began in 2008 at TOMS supporting grassroots marketing and sales initiatives.

An interdisciplinarian, she studied film and visual media at UC Irvine and spent 4 years volunteering for iconic public radio station KCRW. She frequents film screenings and farmers' markets, and regularly hosts events to build community and impact both locally and nationally.
